This is an impressive Indian bracelet that has an intricate design featuring pyramid-shaped spikes. The spikes may have a defensive function. The bracelet is hinged and closes with a beautiful pin. There is clear tape around the pin probably to make the fit tighter in the barrel. 

The bracelet is from Orissa from the second half of the 20th century. There is a similar bracelet in Traditional Jewelry of India by Oppi Untracht identified as bandaria or kharu. The bracelet is not made of silver and was likely worn by a young woman or a girl as the measurements show. The bracelet is in good vintage condition but has a lot of oxidation.
